A SAMPLING OF ISSUES

Here is A Sampling of Some of the Issues Liberty Fulcrum Will Address —

We believe in minimal government. We believe in a nation of few laws.

We believe the best government is that which is closest to you.

We believe that those who serve in government are supposed to temporarily engage in public service, not create a permanent career choice complete with benefits and pension.

We believe that the original intent of the constitution was to bind the hands of those in government who would do mischief: All references to a “living constitution” are of foreign introduction and all attempts to bypass the restraints of the constitution are unlawful.

We believe that all law must be practiced evenly, without any special consideration to race, gender, religion, or financial status.

We believe the laws should be clearly understandable and those laws that are made should protect liberty, not ration it.

We believe all laws must stand up to the scrutiny of constitutional checks and balances. No law shall be valid unless it has passed through the legislature.

We believe that U.S. Senators must once again be bound to their state legislatures.

We believe juries still retain the right to set aside all laws not in keeping with what would be the expectation of the ordinary “reasonable man.”

We believe that all juries still have both the right and responsibility to nullify all judgements where the human instruments of government have strayed from or defiled the fulfillment of their purpose.

We believe most current taxation is theft.

We believe that the deliberate governmental maintenance of national debt is an unlawful attempt at the usurpation of the people’s power.

We believe that only the U.S. Treasury, not the Federal Reserve, may issue legal monetary tender and that all future Treasury Certificates must be returned to a gold standard.

We believe that no form of taxation should ever become an instrument of political punishment or extortion.

We believe that all income, inheritance, and capitol gains taxes must be permanently and constitutionally eliminated.

We believe that it is an invitation to total corruption to ever provide the same legislative body both the right to tax and the right to spend.

We believe in the sanctity of property rights and that government shall not be allowed to seize anyone’s property for any reason no matter how noble sounding the cause.

We believe in total U.S. sovereignty and that any member of the federal government who seeks via treaty or legislation to usurpt that sovereignty is guilty of no less than treason.
